Funds Raised by the Foundation of the Baroque Theater in Český Krumlov

The Foundation for the Baroque Castle Theater in Český Krumlov was established in 1992 to raise ample funds for restoration of the Baroque castle theater and castle complex. In 1993 donations from domestic sponsors reached more than 600 000,- Kč. The following year the sum increased up to 950 000,- Kč, the first advertising co-operations with our sponsors were set up and first foreign donors contributed to foundation\'s account. Increasing prestige and success of the Baroque Theater Foundation drew sponsors\' attention to support of the project of Baroque theater restoration. Within the year 1997 the foundation raised almost 4 million Kč; more than half of the sum was created by incomes from advertising co-operation. The special contract ( either on donation or advertising ) is made with every donor or sponsor and the elaborate documentary evidence for use of donations is provided. Sponsors, Supporters and Friends of the Foundation of the Baroque Theater in Český Krumlov are highly respected and given publicity by Board of Directors of the Baroque Theater Foundation which appreciates their support and invites them to special meetings, benefit performances and trial performances in the castle theater.

Almost 15 230 210,- Kč was raised till the end of the year 1998. However, the anticipated sum of money necessary for completion of the work connected with the restoration of the Baroque theater amounts to 35 000 000,- Kč.
