Vladimír Darjanin

Born July 11, 1960

Completed studies at the Musical Academy in 1986 in the field of opera and documentary film creation. In 1986-87, postgraduate studies at the Humbolt university in East Berlin. In 1987-88 worked in the Komische Oper Berlin and simultaneously from 1987-89 in the Deutcsche Oper in Western Berlin. In 1990-92 worked in the Opera ND and 1991-92 also in Laterna Magica.

Since 1992 works freelance with most energy invested in opera, film, and advertising. In 1992 founded the PR agency DaDa, which he owns. Has so far staged 18 opera performances and about 80 documentary films at home and abroad. Has also produced roughly 130 - 150 short films. Has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Baroque Theatre of the Český Krumlov State Castle and Chateau since 1998.
